Our second week’s project was much more ambitious than the first one. We decided to do a four player arena style shooting game. In this game players fight each other using various weapons in an office environment with destructible objects. Hence the name “9-to-5 jobi”.
We came up with the idea using silent brainstorming, a technique we learned during our innovation classes on our first school year. The idea was completed quickly and so we were able to start working on the game sooner.
This time development went a lot smoother than the last time. In the beginning we decided a project structure (folders and such) that everyone would follow. Also one of the coders had the main version of the project. The other coder worked using a copy of the project from which only the needed assets were imported to the main project.
